BREAK THE CHAIN
Break the chain is the answer to a collaborative and self negotiated brief. I worked alongside Megan Fretwell to create the
'Break the Chain' social movement that aims to educate individuals on the benefits of shopping locally and break their chain store habits. It was great to involve the realtailers of Nottingham themselves in the project, they were so fun to work with!
Finalist for the Creative Conscience awards.

trAPPed
In answer to Pan Macmillan's 2016 Children's book illustration prize I wrote 'trAPPed'. Joey loves playing on his phone so much that he wishes he could never stop..but who knew how scary technology can be?
UPFRONT
Upfront is the product of a collaborative self negotiated brief with Katie Webb. We created a stress aid kit for teenagers. Teenager's brains are not equipped to deal with the stressors they are put under in modern society, their frontal lobe's aren't fully developed. Upfront provides teens with the tools to stand up to stress and tackle it head on.
HIGHS IN DISGUISE
A self negotiated brief that celebrates the highs you get from exercise. My final outcome resulted in launching a new range of 'fitbits' that encouraged users to "get high".
MADE TO MEASURE
I collaborated with Megan Fretwell to produce a third year Graphic Design degree show brand. Made to Measure celebrates students' uniqueness and how each individual is perfectly suited to a particular job.
STORY TIME
In answer to YCN's Save the Children brief in 2015 to encourage Dads in lower income families to read to their children. One of the main issues I established was that Fathers didn't feel like they had the time to read so Story Time makes story time, anytime.
MAYFLY
Allofus set a brief to reduce the gap between emotion and technology inspired by a story. In collaboration with Megan Fretwell we created Mayfly. We used the story of the Mayfly's 24 hour life cycle to encourage people to appreciate life and live in the moment. Mayfly is a piece of wearable technology that measures stress and anxiety and teaches mindfulness techniques. It aims to make the wearer aware of their stress levels and learn how to manage it.
WAKE UP TO DEMENTIA
When taking part in Design Council's Design Academy I worked as part of a team to answer a brief about improving transition through care. Through our research we established that transitioning through dementia care is extremely difficult and that there is a lack of knowledge of the subject and a lack of support for the partner of somebody who is suffering. We discovered that the answer to improving transition through dementia care is educating individuals on early signs of dementia so that the transition process can run much more smoothly.
TRENT TV
As Head of Design for Trent TV (Nottingham Trent University's television production society) I was to produce a series of posters with the Assistant Head of Design, Ben Alexandar, to promote Trent TV's fresher's coverage.
